 During the cooler winter months, Ground shipments are shipped on Monday through Friday.
 2 Day shipments are only shipped Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Overnight shipments are only shipped Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Please note, during extreme heat during the summer months, or extreme cold during the winter months, we may hold shipments to your area here in our warehouse. If you feel this may be a problem because of a time sensitive package, please email us. Orders placed will usually ship within the next 2 business days, weather permitting. Faster shipping options may be available. All packages are packed in Styrofoam containers to ensure proper delivery. We do everything possible on our end to protect our wine shipments from temperature-related damage. If you are concerned about the weather in your area, you may request a specific shipping date or you may choose a faster shipping method. You will receive an email containing tracking information once your order is boxed and ready for shipment. Please note, these tracking numbers will not be active until they are scanned by the driver. (For example, if you have an order scheduled to ship on a Monday, we may box it on a Friday and send you the tracking info. However, the tracking info will not be valid until the driver picks it up on Monday.)

Where do you ship?

We currently cannot ship to AL, DE, KY, MS, NH, UT, IL, OK, PA. Other restrictions may apply and are subject to change.


BPW will automatically add a 1% fee to cover all insurance for each order placed online. This covers you from any package lost or damaged in transit. If you wish to waive the insurance, you may do so by un-checking the box during checkout, however, this waives all responsibility from BPW.

Signature Policy

You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase wine from BPW. It is highly recommended that you provide us with a business shipping address for best service. Customer comments on their order such as "Please leave on back porch" or "Please leave at front door" will be ignored!

Title to, and ownership of, all wine passes from BPW (Blicker Pierce Wagner Wine Merchants, LLC) to the purchaser in the State of California and the purchaser takes all responsibility for shipping it from California to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the wine, BPW is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service from BPW, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.

Cancellation Policy

There is a 10% restocking fee for all cancelled orders. This includes PRE-ARRIVAL, IN TRANSIT and IN STOCK orders.

Return Policy

BPW generally cannot accept returns of wine in your possession longer than 6 months, as we have no way of knowing your specific storage conditions. We hope you understand. We will, however, review this on a case by case basis.

BPW guarantees the excellent provenance of the wine it sells. We will happily return, refund, credit, or exchange bottles that suffer from the following conditions:

“Cooked” wine or wine that is clearly showing signs of improper storage. Ideally we will ask for a partial bottle sent back to us.

Wine that is leaking on arrival.

Incorrect fulfillment (wrong vintage, etc.)

Shipping problems that are clearly the fault of the shipper or BPW.

Wines with conditions not noted (torn labels, etc.)

Please note: None of these should happen!

CORKED Wine (TCA tainted)

We generally do not accept wine for return that is “corked” (this is a matter that is 100% out of our control and is an issue to take up with the winery), if the wine is older than 1 year from its release date, or wine that you simply don’t like. That said, tell us why and we’ll probably offer you a spirited debate and something to make you feel better.

BPW reserves the right to hold all wine shipments at our discretion for weather-related issues. We may require written proof of shipping authorizations if it goes against our recommendations. This is done solely in the interest of your wine and its health!
